About Me
Dina Perez (she/her) is a queer, Latina Musical Theatre Artist from Chicago. Dina has always loved singing and dancing, but didn't start taking voice lessons and participating in productions until middle school. Since then, Dina has graduated as a Musical Theatre Major from the Chicago High School for the Arts, and went to Goodman Theatre's Musical Theatre Intensive for multiple years. She was one of 25 awarded the Andrew Lloyd Webber Training Scholarship in 2017 in the nation. In May 2022, she received her BFA in Musical Theatre with a Music Minor at Drake University.
Now back in Chicago, Dina has worked with newer companies such as Pegasus Theatre, Chicago Kids Company, Midsommer Flight, Perceptions Theatre, but also worked with familiar faces such as Oak Park Festival Theatre. She's also signed with Lily's Talent and has achieved EMC status. Dina is a Possibilities Theatre Company artistic company member. She wants to continue merging her interest in social issues with her theatre work. Outside of theatre, Dina loves all things Disney, Christmas, Halloween, and dogs!
